Six weeks of private sessions and Off-Leash Lab to build a dog who stays with you, comes back every time, and doesn't need a leash to listen.
Off-Leash builds on a solid foundation, so every dog starts with the Core 4 basics and an understanding of leash pressure.
Finish our 6-week Foundations program, and you're ready to move straight into Off-Leash.
See Foundations →Already trained? Your dog needs to know the Core 4 basics and understand leash pressure into each command. Your $100 goes toward Off-Leash or Foundations, wherever your dog lands.
Apply to test in →The results come from the work you put in between sessions. If you're not training daily, you won't get the results.
If you're not practicing, your trainer will know, and may need to pause sessions until you're able to commit. Otherwise, it's confusing and unfair to your dog.
One-on-one with your trainer, starting at Marina Vista Park and progressing to the places you want your dog off leash.
A Saturday group class where you truly test your dog's skills, working around other BAMK9 graduates.
Short, consistent training every day, including practice in public places where distractions are real.
Weekly homework in Skool. Send your practice video 4 days before your next session, and your trainer replies within 24 hours.
We won't use high-level corrections to force compliance. We build your dog's understanding first, use low levels of pressure, and only apply a correction when it's fair and at a fair level.

Dogs are living beings, so we don't promise perfection. We do promise to train fairly, keep you honestly informed, and help your dog finish with better behavior and stronger skills.
Off-Leash is 6 weeks, with one private session and one Saturday Off-Leash Lab group class each week, plus weekly homework and feedback in Skool.
Off-Leash Lab is our Saturday group class, where you truly test your dog's skills while working around other BAMK9 graduates. It's the group portion of the Off-Leash program, and graduates get half off Off-Leash Lab forever.
There are two ways in: graduate from Foundations, or test in. To test in, your dog needs to know the Core 4 basics and understand leash pressure into each command. The test is $100, and it's applied toward Off-Leash or Foundations, depending on where your dog lands.
Dogs need to be at least 8 months old to start Off-Leash.
You'll buy your own e-collar. We only work with Dogtra systems, and we typically recommend the Dogtra 280X with a breakaway collar. The exact model for your dog is in your "What You Need" gear list in Skool.
Fairly. We won't use high-level corrections to get a dog to comply without building their understanding first. We use low levels of pressure, and we only apply corrections when they're fair and at a fair level. The goal is a dog who performs the Core 4 off leash with little use of the e-collar.
A lot. This is our most demanding program. You'll need to train daily, practice in public settings, and commit to the Saturday Off-Leash Lab classes. If you're not practicing, your trainer will know, and may need to pause sessions until you're able to commit, because progressing without that work would be confusing and unfair to your dog.
Private sessions start at Marina Vista Park in Long Beach, then progress from there based on your goals and the places you want your dog off leash.
It works just like Foundations. Each week you'll get homework in Skool, send a practice video 4 days before your next session, and your trainer will reply within 24 hours. You'll also keep lifetime access to our Skool community, live Q&As, and training library.
Off-Leash is $1,250 for the 6-week program, and you can pay over time with Affirm. Your Dogtra e-collar is purchased separately. All payments are non-refundable.
Choose Off-Leash if you want to be part of the process and have time to train every day. Choose Board & Train if you'd rather a professional train your dog first and then teach you how to keep it up. Not sure? Apply, and we'll help you decide on your call.
Dogs are living beings, so no honest trainer can guarantee perfection. Your results depend heavily on the daily work you put in. What we can promise is fair training, honest updates, and a dog who finishes with better behavior and stronger skills.
Apply in a few minutes, and we'll talk through your goals and the right path into Off-Leash on a call.
